  1. Ugh. Hearing the closeout of a new vgmpire always makes me feel sad because I’m so worried that it will be the last vgmpire. :/

    Please keep making vgmpire.

  2. Thank you for doing these episodes.

  3. My Phar Mor was near the movie theaters, so we’d go there to get candy before going to the movies. It was across town, so I don’t think I rented there as much as other places, but they definitely had crazy deals. I also bought my first CD there, Us by Peter Gabriel, which I played on Sega CD, my first CD player.

  4. Hey guys! Way to end Rocktober on a bang. I love both of those OSTs, but I had no idea Gleylancer was partly composed by a guy who also worked on Lunar.

Brett, no matter what I have in my podcast backlog, when an episode of VGMpire comes out, it goes to the top of my list. I know you’re a super busy guy, but I always appreciate your show.

Oh, and you guys totally missed the opportunity to make a “Forsaken Densetsu” joke.

  5. I forgot to mention, my favorite track from Star Cruiser is Rigil Kent System, which if I recall wasn’t on the Mega Drive port. Here’s the PC-88 version, which also in beautiful FM: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=fGHI_GyNdHU

  6. Amazing tunes. Really makes me sad that the Sega offerings in the US often had sub-par music.

Love the show and look forward to Rocktober every year!
